Hirschfeld

Part of the New York Times History Project, Hirschfeld is a glimpse into the life and character of one of the world's best-known caricaturists.

With a subject like Hirschfeld, there's no need for a narrator. Hirschfeld's own comments and work, and interviews with the people he portrays, provide a full portrait of the man.

Telequest was chosen for this project because of our natural, no-pressure interview style, which puts people at ease and encourages them to speak candidly and comfortably in front of the camera. In addition to our work on Hirschfeld, we were selected by the New York Times History Project to interview the late columnist James Reston and former managing editor Abe Rosenthal.
